The coaching staff of Racing Metro 92 has finalised the recruitment for the 2014 – 2015 season with the signing of a young Argentinean second row. At 21 years of age, Tomás Lavanini (2m01, 130kg) already has 10 caps for the Pumas.
Born in Buenos Aires, where he plays for the famous Hindu Club, in 2013 he played for Argentina in the Junior World Cup in France. His 10 caps for the Pumas include the three recent tests against Ireland (2) and Scotland.
Lavanini has signed a combined Espoir /Pro contract for 3 years with the Ciel et Blanc.
